About Marcellus
Aerospace operating discipline for revenue follow-through that has to work.
Plaid Pizazz is Marcellus Spears, independent. I help B2B sales and operations teams turn customer conversations into reviewed CRM updates, follow-ups, commitments, proposal inputs, and management briefs.

Marcellus Spears, founder.
The short version
Why I built Plaid Pizazz around the work after the meeting.
I bring 15+ years of aerospace business development and program leadership. My experience includes Goodrich—a Fortune 500 aerospace company—and UTC Aerospace Systems, part of United Technologies, then a Dow Jones Industrial Average component. My work covered Airbus and Boeing programs, international business pursuits, aftermarket strategy, customer negotiations, and cross-functional program leadership.
The people doing that work were sharp. They weren't the problem. The recurring problem was the gap after the customer conversation: CRM updates waited, follow-ups competed with the next meeting, commitments lived in notes, and proposal context had to be rebuilt.
I started Plaid Pizazz to bring that operating discipline to AI delivery. The firm helps $5M–$50M companies build human-reviewed revenue follow-through systems. That means explicit data boundaries, evidence-linked drafts, human approval, failure handling, and operating ownership—not autonomous customer communication.
I also built an industrial agent reliability benchmark across 18 aerospace scenarios and six behavioral dimensions. That standard—show the evidence, expose the failure modes, and keep a person accountable—is the bar for client work.

How I work
Six principles that decide every engagement.
These are operating constraints, not branding. They define what I will build, measure, and ask a client to approve.
Priced up front. No discovery-call dance.
Every tier is published on /services. If you can't see the price before the call, I'm doing something wrong.
Completed follow-through, not another AI demo.
I prepare evidence-linked CRM updates, follow-ups, commitments, proposal inputs, and management briefs your team can review and release.
A decision-ready Assessment—or a refund.
If the Assessment does not support a documented go/no-go decision, I revise it once at no cost. If it still does not, I refund the $500.
No managed service without pilot evidence.
Ongoing service is offered only when a completed pilot shows recurring volume, useful output, acceptable review effort, and a funded operating need.
Tools serve the work, not the other way around.
The model, tools, and architecture must fit your data, controls, and maintenance capacity. No affiliate commissions. No vendor loyalty.
Discipline over hype.
I don't sell 'AI transformation.' I sell a defined workflow, a testable agent, and operating controls. Measured against an agreed baseline—not a demo.
Start with one conversation-to-follow-through workflow.
The 30-Day Pilot tests whether faster, more complete follow-through is valuable enough to operate beyond the first month.
